Bio
Having been raised in a musical family, Eryn developed her foundation early. Both of her parents are musicians, and she grew up in Hawaii surrounded by extended family members who were performers, touring instrumentalists, vocalists, and educators. Music was not treated casually in her home — it was practiced, studied, and respected. She began classical piano training at a young age while jazz, rock, and gospel shaped her ear.
Playing piano and keyboards in church services, ministry events, and live bands were key in her development. Accompaniment taught her awareness — how to support a vocalist, how to leave space, how to strengthen a song without overpowering it. Performing live remains central to her work, and she has had the honor of playing music with many talented performers including Hōkū Award–winning and Grammy Award–winning musicians and industry professionals. Those experiences continue to shape how she approaches collaboration, leadership, and musical expression.
Her transition into songwriting and production began in college, where she earned a scholarship to study creative arts in Oregon. Her Bachelor of Science degree in Ministry Leadership and Music allowed her to develop both technical skill in music as well as administrative management. During this time, songwriting became a central practice, helping her translate her experience into fully realized songs. Music production expanded that practice, giving her the tools to craft arrangements, refine sound, and bring her vision to life. Today, she integrates songwriting, production, and live performance with intention and care, ultimately supporting the music and the people she collaborates with.
